May be I should have posted it earlier ... but here is a place to checkout all the BF deals.

I bought a Sony 3D Bloggie camcorder online. Yet to go out today to grab some stuff.

Unfortunatley, more stuff = larger carbon footprint :(

This was down $20 today. Shared gift with my wife. With they keyboard off it looks like a nice book/kindle reader.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-B1 32GB 10.1-Inch Tablet (Tablet Only)

Sorry for the confusion. It is down $20 from yesterday so $419 yesterday and $399 today. I'm a Amazon PRIME member so shipping was "free". If it was $20 then I would have bought them all <grin>

I'll be playing with Torque ( https://market.android.com/details?id=org.prowl.torque" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) when my wife is not reading.

Hobby People had a good discount on the Traxxas Slash RC Trucks. So Zack is getting a brushless, LiPo powered 4x4 EV for Christmas.

Free stuff at CVS Pharmacy (Phillips iPod ear buds, toothpaste, floss picks, BreatheRights, deodorant, etc). Buy the stuff with your CVS card and get a coupon of equal value. The actual cost is the sales tax, and the ear buds actually cost 99 cents after the coupon, but a pretty good deal overall.

Leather jacket for 25% off at Loehmann's, was $200, got it for $150.

Shoes and socks at Off Broadway for $25 off a $100 purchase. I did it twice on consecutive days and got $50 off three pairs of already discounted shoes and some socks, plus about $9 off on the second day because they give you a credit of 10% of what you bought the previous day.

I truly don't "need" anything else.

I bought the ViewSonic 3DV5 3D camcorder online. I also bought an iPad 2 from the Apple online store. I was hoping to buy online and pick up at the Mall store. That was a big "no go" for black Friday. So it should be here via UPS on Tuesday.

Have been looking at this for quite a while. Picked up the Wi-Fi Thermostat (Model: 3M-50) to meet some more energy usage goals. Align times with hourly elect rates better. Also using the $10 software API (setyourthermostat.com)to have it do some circ at various times as well which is not part of the standard functionality. 3M-50 info http://www.radiothermostat.com/filtrete/help/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Best Buy had these on sale for $250 on Black Friday, with the keypad dock at only $99, but who wants to stand in line and fight the crowds to get one? (Especially since each store was only guaranteed to have 10 units, with the added risk of being pepper-sprayed or beat up trying to score one, as seems to be the disturbing trend in the meatspace shopping world these days! )

With the Transformer Prime on tap for December release, I'm willing to bet these toys will get even cheaper on closeout. Since I absolutely, positively, do not need another computing device, no matter how small, elegant, and clever, I have resisted all impulses to purchase a tablet so far, myself. That's my Scottish heritage speaking, because it would definitely be fun to play with one, just not a "necessity" at this point by any rational measure.

Absolutely nothing!
basically what Tom said.
but I did buy five quarts of oil for the trunk of the old ICE, which burns oil.
And a chamois cloth.

also six bottles of wine to replace the red that went gone with the guests.

Ace hardware had a 50% off one item. I bought a 25' 12 gauge extension cord for about $17. I was happy

Venk

That is a great price even tho it was 16GB vs 32GB. We were looking at a reader for my wife vs her buying the more expensive books. I'm looking forward to using it to do test with torque in my car and for a lighter version of something to carry when we go on vacation or visit relatives. We don't even have smartphones in our family or text on our 'dumb' phones so we pick our expenses carefully and avoid monthly reoccuring items.

I've been thinking about getting this for a while. Need to first check whether I have the needed wiring ...

My son and I ran a C wire for the 24v power. I only had 30' to go. On that help site is this vid "C Wire - How to use the G wire as a C wire" which was another option I think I could have did.

I got a MagicJack Plus VoiceOverIP device. This one doesn't need to be plugged into a computer. Regular is $70 but Radio Shack has a sale for $60. Ten bucks is not much saving, but I'm looking forward to saving $25/month when I disconnect my land line.
