At what point does diminished battery capacity prevent the car from outputting the full 80kW of power or driving more than say 50mph? Would the battery have to get down to 2% capacity to increase the internal resistance enough to cause a large power loss? Or is it something more like say 30%? I realize that the power is going to be V^2/R, but I have no sense for how the R varies with capacity loss.
I know that the battery warranty has no range warranty, but it seems like if the car can't function as a car anymore because the battery can't source enough power, that might be something you could demand warranty service for.
