I'm trying to buy all-season/weather (rubber) mats for a 2013 Nissan Leaf.
These show up as an one of the accessories when building your Leaf on the Nissan website: http://www.nissanusa.com/buildyourn.../All-season-Floor-Mats-(4-piece-set)/Interior

However they do not show at all when attempting to buy them on the Nissan eStore:
http://parts.nissanusa.com/nissanpa...d=211&overlayExtids=&overlayIntids=&siteid=14

I called the dealer and they have no idea as to why they're not available for the 2013 yet. They do show up on the eStore for the 2012 Nissan Leaf:
http://parts.nissanusa.com/nissanpa...4&catalogid=211&overlayExtids=&overlayIntids=

Does anyone know if the 2012 mats will fit the 2013 model?

if they do fit, there are some more options to purchase from:

Did anyone figure out if the 2012 mats fit in the 2013? My paper floormats are starting to wear a bit thin.

Not yet. I was going to order the ones for 2012, but based on the fact that the part number differs for the carpeted ones (2012: 999E2-8X00* vs 2013: 999E2-8Z00*), I may hold off for now, and buy generic ones temporarily.

I was thinking the same thing, I even noticed the same part num differences late last night. I was hoping you were going to be the one to take the $80 risk to try them out .

By the way, based on the other part numbers, it seems that the 2013 leaf all-weather mats should be 999E4-8Z000, but a search revealed nothing. Oh well, I'm going to visit my dealer today for an unrelated issue, I'll see what they know.

This is the response I just got from Nissan Support:

@NissanSupport "The all season mats for MY13 are in the final stages of development and are planned for around May/June availability. Please note: due to several vehicle changes with the floor, heater/cooling duct work etc, the mats are not interchangeable so they will apply to MY13 and forward only."

So I guess I'll be buying cheap generic weather mats for now until then, hope this helps!

I went to the dealer today and bought the 999E4-8X000 after talking to their parts guy. According to him, the issue with the 2013 Leafs is the same issue the all season mats have with the 2012 winter weather package leafs. Little extra bumps under the seats for the heating system.

I took the risk and put them in my 2013 SL. I guess I'm not anal enough about the little ductwork bumps to care as they look fine to me. If I didn't know what to look for, I doubt I would have noticed the issue at all.

Here is a picture of the "issue":

Way more noticeable is the side of the mat where the rubber was folded in the box
lbBD1SO.jpg

This mat isn't scrunched or anything, it's just how the mat was folded (I might stick a phonebook on it for a few days to try to push it into place.

In my opinion at least, the 2011-2012 mats work perfectly well in the 2013 leaf (and look way better than the paper mats). It sounds like they are planning a rev of the mats that includes the tiny duct bumps, but I don't really see the point.

BTW: Hat-tip to the guys at Marlboro Nissan for once again being a great help to me.
Their parts website, which seems to be fairly popular on the forums already, is http://www.nissanaccessories247.com/leaf-accessories/leaf-floor-mats coupon code FREESHIP for free floormat shipping.

Thanks anwallen for posting the pictures! It's good to hear the 2012 MY mats almost fit the 2013 MY. I actually went looking for generic mats yesterday and I could not find ones that would fit, they front ones are all too large for the LEAF. I don't mind the small humps either, I may do the same. Does the driver mat attach well to the 2 "holders" on the floor?

No problem attaching to the holders at all, note that there is also a hump on the drivers side in the 2013 which I don't think was present on the 2012 cold weather. I'll try to get some top down pics this afternoon.

Get any pics of the driver's side issue? I'm thinking of keeping my '12 mats (which of course don't fit on the passenger side already) for my new '13...

These are my pictures. The small humps is something I can live with, however if you feel that the passenger side is bad, then the driver side is slightly worse.
