Sorry, guys, I've been away from the board.
The solar/EV event sounded cool! I'm sorry I missed it.
Ironically, *today* would be an awesome day to get together, but it's not enough notice. Anyone up for
next Saturday, July 30th at noon? Of course, anyone from Shoreline (or any other area) is welcome!
Here's what I'm thinking:
1) We
meet next Saturday July 30, at Starbucks in DT Woodinville at noon.
2) From there we grab a drink and/or snack (this is
essential as you'll see) reset our trip odometers and head off
along this route (13.4mi), with a couple of hills. This will be our own little "LA4" homemade driving cycle.
3) We arrive at Tully's in Redmond, and grab a quick lunch* and compare notes, swap stories, etc. (Note that this gives you the all-important opportunity to
compare the brands of coffee--obviously essential to any self-respecting Seattle-area dweller...
)
4) Head on home!
*Tully's is on me for the driver who makes the most energy efficient Woodinville-Redmond 1 "WR1" driving cycle!
What do you guys think--sound like a fun way to spend an hour and a half or so on a Saturday afternoon? Please let me know here in the thread so we can get some idea of the interest level. It would be awesome to get a nice Leaf EV convoy going!
All the best,
-Brad
