Gas prices are going up in the region due to a shut down pipeline. Seeing $4.09 was kind of a shock, so I had to pose my LEAF for another shot (in OP).
The rural "superhighway" that I use to go grocery shopping in the big city, looking south (homeward). This is the most heavily traveled road in my county, population 4300, except for one state and one federal highway that transect the county. The mountain peak at the right is Mt. Sneffels, 14,150 feet.
The equation here is: dirt road + snow + sun = mud. My car was a mudball by the time I got to the paved portion of the road but this route is much shorter, with a more gentle grade, than the long way through town. Not all LEAFs are city cars.
