On a 3D printer forum, some guy posted a pic of his latest design/print.
It was a J1772 port that would click onto his gas cap, so he could use EV parking spots and look like he was charging..
:| :|

Of course, I replied that, as an EV owner, I didn't think that was a good idea.
I've seen people reported and ticketed for that type of thing (well, not faking a port..).
And then there were replies actually using the words/phrases "rat" and "tattle tale."

It was funny, but sad at the same time..

People... ;-(

I have one of those, but it's used to hold my J1772 cable end while I'm not charging. I have it mounted to the wall in my garage and keeps my cable end from sitting on the floor, they are readily available from Amazon and probably other places. The cheap ones are 3-D printed, mine is molded plastic and works good IMO(for it's intended purpose).

I have the same as jjeff. Also that guy is at least thinking outside the box haha, gotta give him credit for that.
Kind of like the single people that(supposedly) put a mannequin in the passenger seat of a car to allow them to drive in the carpool lanes....how often this happens is up for debate but apparently someone once did it and got caught ;)
