We're looking at trading in our 2013 for a 2018 Leaf. The 10 State and Fed credit plus a 3k PGE rebate makes the leaf under $20k at the moment.
Keep in there are some eligibility requirements for the CVRP now (https://cleanvehiclerebate.org/eng/eligibility-guidelines), such as an income cap. I make too much to qualify.dvu said:The 10 State and Fed credit plus a 3k PGE rebate makes the leaf under $20k at the moment.
Nobody should be paying MSRP on a Leaf in the first place, esp. at this point in the cycle. The discount is taken off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the purchase or finance of a 2018 Nissan Leaf EV and is available through Sept. 30.
Then -7.5k fed credit - 2.5k CA rebate - 3k PG&E rebate - 0.5k PG&E Clean Fuel Rebatedvu said:So I spoke to PG&E, they said their rebate is separate from what the dealer is willing to discount on top of that. That doesn't help much obviously. But I guess what they means is the dealer can't use that against you IMO.
So the best quote I received today was
36,405 MSRP
-4000 dealer discount
-2000 Nissan discount
-2000 Loyalty discount
Is this a good deal?
