I took my Leaf in to my local dealership for a grinding noise up front. Turned out the brakes needed to be machined, as it appeared the car had been sitting for a long time prior to my ownership and the brakes/rotors had rusted/warped.
Anyway, on the drive home, I noticed 2 things:
1.) My Average EnergyEconomy gauge shot up to well over 5 after being reset...it had never gotten over 4.2.
2.) My Instant EnergyEconomy gauge is really glitchy now & seems to have quite a lag. For example I can press down on the accelerator, and the gauge will show full 8 KWh efficiency.
I called the dealership to let them know that I'm VERY pleased with #1, but puzzled by #2, as the gauge was always very responsive and the feedback it provided instant.
Any thoughts?
