The 30kwh battery is total garbage! I lost my first bar at 19k miles and I live in cold Minnesota! You are not alone most people are seeing rapid degradation as well. Nothing we can do until we drop 4 bars, then you get a battery replacement under warranty.

Check out this thread, it's all about this problem:

Indeed. We already have at least 8 known cases of 30 kWh Leafs that have lost 4 bars: viewtopic.php?p=516655#p516655.

In comparison, we don't know of any model year 2015 "lizard" battery 4 bar losers yet: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=24532. Even on Phoenix, GerryAZ only lost 2 bars. I just learned of the first 3 bar loser on the lizard battery today. He lost it yesterday, 1/27/18.

Charging rate is measured in kW, not kwh. You got the battery capacity units correct: kWh.

'13 Leaf SV w/premium package (owned)
'13 Leaf SV w/QC + LED & premium packages (lease over, car returned)
'06 Prius

Please don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.
