I have programmed my Homelink from my home remote successfully. Its a
generic opener that's about 15 years old. However, I can't get the Homelink
to learn the code from a remote from my work. After about 56 seconds, the
Homelink just seems to give up and stop blinking, as though it wasn't
hearing anything.

According to wikipedia, openers from the 90's used 390MHz
and modern ones use 315MHz. The opener at work is this one:

http://www.at-fairfax.com/P206-Linear-DNT00054A.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

at 318MHz. The datasheet doesn't mention anything about rolling codes.

Is it possible that the Homelink doesn't listen around 315-318MHz ?
I find it hard to believe, so would love to hear other theories.
