CarWings and a Brake warning light

No, that's definitely abnormal. I would take it in. However, I would first double check your fluid level, just to make sure it's adequate....it could just be something as simple as that.

Not being in a rush since all seems to be working well, I planned to have the brakes looked at when I took the car in for plates in about 2 weeks. This morning our Nissan dealer called and asked if we could bring the car in tomorrow at 8:00 AM so they could check out the warning light. I'm impressed
