OK, we're all spoiled here. I'll be the first to admit it. But I would like it if they allowed the audio to be changed while the car is in reverse. It can be turned on or off, but it can't be changed from USB to CD or radio, etc. while in reverse. I tend to listen to audiobooks on CD while my wife likes AM talk radio. So I start the car, put it in reverse, start to back out of the garage and her radio station comes on if she was the last driver. Since I can't change it as I am backing out of the driveway at 5 MPH, I have to wait until I've backed almost all the way out, closed the garage door (and waited to make sure it has gone all the way down without reversing), stopped to look both ways (which I can't see until partway into the street due to hedges, etc.), edged out even more slowly, put it in drive, then looked down at the radio to hit the CD button and readjusted the volume while stopped in the street, a much more dangerous place than my driveway. The radio volume input is always much higher than the CD volume for some reason, so after I switch to CD, I have to turn the volume way up. If my wife turns to the radio while driving, and hasn't turned the volume down beforehand, she will jump out of her skin from the volume blast. All this distraction happens while we are out in the street. I contend that it is safer to be able to do this while in my own driveway backing up. It's not the 30 or so seconds of audio that I've wasted I am concerned about. It's the shift of distraction from the driveway to the street. I can see the rear camera view as I hit the necessary radio buttons, so I am actually able to keep my eyes "on the road" better in reverse than when I am out in the street driving in forward and looking out the windshield.
