I don't want my device blocking the vent, which is why I've never consider vent-mounted options.

I picked up the Ppyple VENT CLIP5 on Ebay. Works great and it tilts and holds position very easily.

Not noticeable. I thought the same but wanted to give it a shot because of mounting locations in my other cars. I actually prefer it now due to cold air keeping the phone cool when using it for directions and the screen stays on. My phone gets really hot and can shut off if it becomes too hot.

I went ahead and bought two both under $9 free shipping from eBay.

One is a cup holder mount with a gooseneck in a cell phone holder. Like the one suggested but cheaper.

Second one has sticky mount. It sticks side of console, passenger side with adjustable extension, which goes to cell phone holder.
