I have a 2012 Leaf, with approx 9,000 miles on it; "red". SL package.
Perfect condition.
Looking for someone to assume lease. Best offer over $290 per month gets it.
I am in Illinois.
Why am I parting with it?
I got "her" in May 2012 knowing it was "training wheels" for my Tesla Model S which has now arrived.
Don't need two cars and my dealer's offer is not as good as it could be.
12 bars on battery gauge. Never had a lick of problems with "her".
2 years, 2 months left on lease.
Will list on swapalease web site but why not here too?
PM me for details.

One problem I've heard is that NMAC still holds the original lessee responsible for payments. So, you would be accepting credit risk.

According to the swapalease.com agent, the chances are really slim the payments back fire on the lessee. I have looked into this as well because I test drove a Tesla and ordered 3 of them......JK! I wish.

Of course swaplease.com is going to say the chances of default are "slim"...they don't want to lose out on their $95 "finder fee." But unless they guarantee to cover any missed payments, I would take that with a grain of salt.

Plus, with leases it's more than just making sure the payments are sent on time. If you're still being held responsible, you also have to worry that the car is returned to the lessor on time and in acceptable condition.
