Hi all, I just completed a trip from Vancouver to Calgary with my 2014 Nissan Leaf. I want to share the data I gathered and hopefully it can be useful if you want to make the same trip.

Car Specs:
2014 Nissan Leaf S with Quick Charger package.
24 kWh capacity
Odometer: ~86,000 km
SOH = 93%
Load = ~200 kg (2 Adults + stuff)

Summary:
Travel Time = 3 days (can be done in 2, but we decided to stay an extra night in Canmore)
Level 3 Charges = 11 (All in BC and in 1 day, no battery overheating issues)
Level 2 Charges = 5
Level 1 Charges = 1

Notes:
* Most difficult leg was Revelstoke to Golden, we arrived with very low battery to Golden (less than 5%) and we had to drive at 40km/h for about 150km.
* Second most difficult leg was Hope to Manning Park. It was colder than expected, so I had to reduce my speed to about 50km/h on the uphills.
* I used Kelly Charmichael's EV tool to plan for the trip. Works great! http://evplanner.mgrid-bcit.ca/evplanner.html

Wow, Que increíble mi amigo. That must have been an amazing and at times tense trip. Angela and I met you in Vernon and couldn't help but be a little jealous as you told us about your upcoming adventure. Thanks for sharing a detailed trip report.

Good news Gustavo. There is a bunch (13) of new DC fast chargers as well as 40 level 2 chargers coming on line in the next year, all in the kootenays and including one in Field and one in the Rogers Pass which should make that trip easy. Here is a link you can follow to read about it.

Buena suerte con el regreso a Vancouver. Enjoy your stay in Calgary.
