Cal - Incentives to reduce cost of putting in 240v outlet?

Hi, if everything goes smoothly tomorrow (knock on wood), I'll be bringing home a new Leaf. I've currently got a 120v outlet in my carport, and would like to upgrade to a 240v outlet as soon as possible. I had one electrician quote $740 to put it in. I plan to get other quotes.

My question is, are there any rebates or other incentive programs to help cover the cost? If it helps I'm in Riverside County and have SoCal Edison for electricity.

(I've done some googling before posting this, I apologize if this is covered already in a thread I missed. Most of what I've found is old, and I'm not sure what, if any programs, are still valid.)

No, just the Federal tax credit for EVSE installation, which was re-upped just this week. And that's not much good to most because it's subject to AMT.
