Buying a leaf with 9 bars vs newer leaf with 12

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a Leaf and saw a 2013 Leaf SL with about 40k with 9 bars. They're asking $8400 for it. The warranty is up on 4/18, so if I purchase it I should have a pretty good chance of getting a replacement battery. I also found a 2015 Leaf SV with about 9K with 12 bars and the're asking 11k for it. I really can't make up my mind on which to get.

What's the build month? Can you update your location?
 
Yes, put your location in your signature line. You also have to ask yourself how much hassle you want to go through to get a free battery installed in the 2013. I'm assuming that one was built before April of 2013.
