I had no trouble charging at L2 with either my 2012 or 2013 Leaf's. I understand that the dealer charged my 2013 at L3 but I never had a need for it. My 2012 charged at 16A and my 2013 charged at 27.5A. Both were fully charged when I left for work. I charged over night mostly.
