Does anyone know if there are any charging options for parking at or near the Pittsburgh Airport? A Google search comes up with nothing. Plugshare also doesn't show anything.
Your best bet may be to contact several of the off-airport parking companies, and see if any of them will let you leave it plugged in with your L1 charger while you're away.
If these spots are available, that would be great. Since they say that the spaces "have been marked for Level-1 charging", I'll assume that they have outlets nearby and you need to supply your own charger. I'll do that trick where I hide the L1 charger under the hood, and have only the handle & an extension cord sticking out.
Also, are ICE cars going to be taking these spaces all the time?
I'm flying out of town next week. I guess I'll give it a shot.
I parked in extended but walked around short-term a bit on my way in. I couldn't find the designated charging spots. Does anybody have an idea of where they're located?
six spaces in Pittsburgh International Airport’s short-term parking garage have been marked for Level I electric vehicle charging. These spaces are located on the third (roof) and second levels of the garage. Special green and white markings have been painted to identify the spaces. Additionally, a regulation traffic sign, marked with “Power Up,” has been hung above each of the six spaces.
