Dealers only at auctions.
But many used car dealers will work with you to buy a vehicle at auction.
Some for a cost of $500 to $1000.
Much less than their markup on vehicles that they're having to wait for a buyer.

Booper: thanks for the response, I think you got a terrific deal on your 2015 SL

TimLee: In my experience most dealers will "shop" for you at the auction for $1000. The main drawback to that approach is that you usually can't go to the auction with them so you may not see be able to what they buy for you in advance. One who is really working in your best interest will call you and let you know what is available at the auction before the bid it. So it is best to be very specific about what you want.

Just purchased a blue ocean 2012 sv. It was a lease from the Seattle area and only has 10k miles. We got it for under 10 grand, but the AHr reading is only 56.35 and SOH is 85%. What gives? Shouldn't this be way higher? Only 6 quick charges. Would normal time related degredation be this high? It's not hot in Seattle at all.

Personally, I'm a little disappointed but the car will still work for me for many years as my commute is only 8 miles on 45 mph speed limit roads.

I'm really wondering how long I'll be able to drive the car. Hopefully degredation will slow with the cold climate up here and my driving/charging habits.

We do love the convenience and cost of the car though. Off peak charging rates are only 3 cents/kwh from xcel energy, which includes all night and 24 hrs on saturday and sunday.

Thank you

Congratulations. Which dealership was this?
