It's great that your LEAF is serving you so well, but the "order of magnitude" term has a fairly well understood meaning, at least in engineering circles, and it's somewhat unlikely that your $/mi is even ONE order of magnitude cheaper, let alone several. How about just saying, "much cheaper"...

Taking the risk of assuming my preferences are typical of most, I'm going to say that regeneration is a Sam Gompers issue. The correct amount of regeneration is "more". In any particular driving situation, when you want less-than-maximum deceleration, just feather the e-pedal a smidge.

Just what it says, I'm sure: An accelerating charging rate that starts out at zero, builds to 7kW by the end of the first hour, 14kW after 2 hours, 21kW after 3, and so on.
