The night/day button did not work. It is like trying to use a laptop in full sun AND sometimes the sun reflecting off the screen is absolutely blinding, I have to press the button to move the screen so that it is open (like to put in a CD). This is really getting annoying.
Thanks for the tips, I will try the day/night button tomorrow. We have daytime running lights up here, not sure if that is affecting it, btw it is not related to my sunglasses.
Hi! In the last few days I have noticed that when the sun is out I can't see a darn thing on the sat nav screen! It doesn't seem to get any better when I change the angle of the screen very lightly. Anyone spoken to their dealer or Nissan about this? Seems crazy not to be able to use the...
Thank you guys. Yes it seems that I definitely have not been using carwings, I will see about getting that set up. Also using the km/kWh idea is great, I already keep track of the mileage so it is just one more thing. A separate meter is a great idea but I really don't want to put any more...
Sorry, I searched but could not find the answer. What is the safest (for car and home) way to let the Leaf sit for a couple of weeks? Plugged in or not?
If it's ok to leave it unplugged, if it fully charged but not plugged in at the airport, will there still be charge left to get me home...
Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to figure out how many kw hrs I am using either on each trip or in total (like weekly or monthly or whatever).
I am estimating that each bar of power is 2 kwH (2x12=24) and I could just keep track of that I suppose. I need to figure out how much power...
So embarrassing, I got flustered at a stop sign yesterday (long story) and suddenly forgot what car I was in, reached down to put her in 1st gear and started to go backwards! Thank goodness I noticed before hitting the car behind me! Sometimes randomly, my foot is going for the clutch, such a...
From what the dealer says, the switching off is related only to the temp of the wheel, not the amount of power it is using. If you look at the power usage screen, when the heated seats and wheel is on, there is very little power draw.
Just wanted to let you know how things are going with getting our EVSE from Aerovironment directly for our electrician to install.
The thing arrived after a couple of weeks but with a bill for $200 in brokerage fees. We asked FedEx to hold it for us and so far Aerovironment has said to have...
So for anybody that is interested I took it into the dealer and here is what they said. Only the top portion of the steering wheel is supposed to heat up so it half of the bottom of mine is heating then that is a bonus. We tested another Leaf that had just arrived on the lot, and the same...
Is there a way to talk on your phone using the car's blue tooth while still seeing the sat nav map and having the directions posted?
I was driving using the sat nav and when a call came in and it switched to the call screen. I'm pretty sure that it was the menu button that I tried pressing but...
Hmm, thx for the reply. Hopefully a few others will chime in. A friend that has a Murano says that his cycles on and off but that it's on for 20 mins or so.
I was just wondering what other people's experiences were with the heated steering wheel? Mine seems to come on for about 2-3 minutes then stay off for about 5 minutes. Also 1/4 of the wheel (lower left quadrant) barely heats up.
I can't find any thing in the manual about it.
Cheers!
