I did a 70 mile RT highway drive recently, relatively flat, down the peninsula and back. Started with 111 mile range and ended with ~10 miles. I drove in ECO mode 90% of the way, had my AC on and kept my speed @ ~65 mph. I did not get the "turtle sign" so I guess the battery wasn't too low...

Another question about white stickers-has anyone tried going in person to the DMV office and showing proof of electric vehicle purchase and getting stickers without waiting for license plate number?

How long does it take these days to get plates (not custom) for a new car? With all the furloughs and all... And, don't you need a license plate number to get the white stickers? Interesting that you don't need fastrak with white ones as you do yellow stickers. Thanks-

very good info. I was holding out for the Leviton because it is entirely portable, but hopefully will qualify for the evproject reimbursement for the quick charge port and charger. right now trickle charging n the garage. I think that will work for some time given how I plan to use it. btw...

thanks for the information. was not aware that SD was the "chosen" area for the EVproject, though it makes sense. I suspect that many folks in SF will not qualify because they either rent or do not have garages. I own my home and have a garage.
