Their lease policy with the original lease holder always being liable if the 2nd owes and can’t be found or doesn’t pay etc is wild. If they expect the new person to be fully credit checked etc I don’t know why they do this? I can’t imagine anyone who would be ok with this setup.
I am curious...
That would be a very Chevy move to stop buybacks. They should be trying to get back as many as they can rather than trying to get all these battery swaps done while annoyed customers wait.
I'm not sure if you noticed but my 2022 Leaf SV is not a Plus unfortunately. Not sure if this is a deal...
How is your buyback going?
I completed a buy back on my 2017 Bolt recently (after months of back and forth) and just leased a 2022 LeaF SV w/ tech package a couple months back. It's a 2 year 10k/year lease only so I did as short as I could, and I think I got a decent deal.
I will most likely...
Yeah seems some people are crazy on these used Leafs. I've seen a lot of 5-7 bar 2011-2013 leafs in my areas asking like 8-10k. I mean for 3-4k those cars are a good, large go/golf cart pretty much.
Searching for a car for my retired parents, who never drive more than 20-40 miles per day max, so I thought a used Leaf is a good idea. They already have another vehicle for longer trips, they just want something simple for getting around town. I know the used market is pretty wild right now so...
Just want to note that the $89/mo lease deal that Nissan was advertising hard on their site, is smoke and mirrors (in SoCal at least). I've called a ton of dealers and for the most part no one has 2022's yet, and if they do, or are expecting some soon, they say they can't honor the $89/mo deal...
I saw a lease deal on a Leaf up in the bay area for $89/mo with like $600 due at signing for 10k miles. I'd do that in a heartbeat even in my warm climate down here in SoCal. Just can't find that deal down here yet.
Ha, is that July bit new? Or was it a previous years' July? The whole section is funny:
