Discuss data from the LEAF Battery app, and Comparisons

I have a CAP of only 92.93% and I think this is quite disappointing considering that: - The car is only a year old - I have driven it only 11.000 km - I have fast charged only 2 times - I'm charging to 80% most of the time (charging to 100% biweekly to balance the cells as advised) - I have...

Using clone ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII adapter with Leaf

    Front suspension rattle

I've had the same thing with my Leaf since I bought it this spring. Nissan looked at it, but didn't manage to find the problem...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

Personally, I find posts describing problems with the Leaf about 1000 times more interesting than posts stating that "my car has no problems", but that's me...

Stuck at a stop light, guy behind me blaring his horn - CRAP

Yes, it's VERY important to signal to the car behind you that you're not moving. Not having your foot on the brake pedal on a red light is not very smart IMHO.

New Leaf lasts 2 days before crashing

So... is there some light or something to check so that you are absolutely sure that the car is off? Just in case you have accidentally ended up in one of those (unnecessary and confusing) states?

New Leaf lasts 2 days before crashing

Thanks for the good job with the chart! I hope there exists a more direct route from LOCK to OFF? By Locking the doors perhaps? I don't have a Leaf myself, but this whole 5-state-stuff feel far more complicated than should be necessary... :|

Owning Nissan Leaf Leads to Dog Attack

I'm sorry, but are you not entirely well? If a kid had stopped next to the dog and had been attacked / killed - is that what you would have said to the parents? "Sorry, but the kid should have known better than to look into the eyes of a strange dog"? The owner is 100% to blame. Terminate the...

New Leaf lasts 2 days before crashing

This can happen to anybody! I cannot imagine what the Nissan engineers were thinking designing a car that actually allows for this to happen! Of course the car should "shut down" long and well before there batteries were drained. They must have understood that this kind of car is new to people...

Underneath the Beast; a Tour of the Dark Side

I guess - as long you don't use something like this...: I'm not convinced that these can be made to chirp ;)

Underneath the Beast; a Tour of the Dark Side

The manual mentions the horn being used (chirping) to confirm different actions (related to locking/activating the alarm it seems). I don't have a Leaf myself so I'm wondering about this chirping stuff. Is the (main) horn really used for these confirmation sounds? And if so, is a horn a horn (a...

Parked for a week with 80% battery charge, came back DEAD

Yes, but certainly not at that rate. I think it looses charge at about 3% a month or so. Well, in theory anyway...

    Window Tinting
