Interesting thread here. I read all this and then went outside with a flashlight to look at my brake pads and I estimate I have 10 mm of front and 8 mm of back. That's the outside pads. Not sure of the inside pads (should be similiar). I usually get 3 bubbles of regen ok though maybe not all...

I have the same problem with my 2011 leaf although it had 24k miles when I bought it. Is there anyway to find out what location it came from? Through Carfax? Other then this I can't complain. I have only a 16 mile commute one way and it handles it just fine.

I have a 2011 SL Leaf I just bought last month which I just love but about a week after I bought it I notice that the radio and nav screen locks up and I can't adjust anything through the touch screen or side buttons except, for the on/off button on the lower left. The radio will just play away...
