    0.4 average energy economy

    Easy. Turn on the A/C or heat, while parked or even while plugged in for a couple of hours. Drive around the block. Take dash photo. If this was a dealership car, the guy cleaning the car probably just blasted the A/C while cleaning the interior. Then he drove it back to the parking space, and...

    coasting in neutral? can this hurt the engine?

    You overestimate the efficiency of regen (Hint: It's not very efficient). There are plenty of anecdotal evidence (here, Tesla forums, etc) that suggests coasting during downhills is more efficient than regen in almost all cases. In this case, coasting is the clear winner, as 54 vs 50 MPH does...

    coasting in neutral? can this hurt the engine?

    This is false. It will actually HELP your range IF you coast to a complete stop without regen/braking. This means 100% of the momentum is being directly applied to the forward motion of your car, and not restored into the battery. The key is regen is not 100% efficient. Some amount of energy...

    No Charge to Charge (EZ-Charge) problem

    No, if you qualify for the free charge, at Blink stations, it will say something like "30[60] minutes of free charging grace period" or something like that. If it didn't say this, then your session won't be free.

    No Charge to Charge (EZ-Charge) problem

    Use PlugShare. Always use PlugShare. They have the best info, because it's crowd-sourced. See http://api.plugshare.com/view/location/18023" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If you look at the comments, the L2 chargers are no longer free. You need to use DCQC.

    Question on miles per Kw

    That works in slang (thinking of the word "bad" here, which can mean "good" or "great") only because it's only said informally in person-to-person conversation with a lot of context. It's almost never widely used as such, and certainly not in an internet post without any context, which would...

    Question on miles per Kw

    Giving you the benefit of the doubt, and assuming you are using the word "power" correctly in casual conversation (still disagree with you there), the physics definition of the word power (which is, by the way, #4 in the google link you provide) makes more sense to refer to in our context...

    Question on miles per Kw

    It probably hasn't occurred to you that english is actually a very poor form of communication to convey scientific knowledge. Hence why equations are used instead of dictionaries in physics. Further, it probably hasn't occurred to you that given 5 people reading any given sentence or...

    Question on miles per Kw

    For what it's worth (probably zero to nerys), I disagree with nerys. Chalk me up as a troll! PS: Here is an article on this very topic: http://cleantechnica.com/2015/02/02/power-vs-energy-explanation/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    selling my Leaf

    Just a thought: You might want to wash your car before taking photos, and wash your car before each showing. You may not think it makes a difference, but psychologically, the buyer *will* pay more for a cleaner car than a dirty one.
