    Oh this is good to know. So I need to use the "starting from" MSRP... That does throw off my calculations a bit! :( Is it the "BASE" MSRP or the real MSRP that includes destination and handling?

    Thanks! That line 9 instruction is the only place where the description is explicit. So that settles the question very clearly. For the SL trim it doesn't matter since you hit the $6000 ceiling either way, but it does matter for the S trim.

    I think this answers my own question: it appears to only apply to those credits that appear on those websites, so NMAC cash would not be part of the equation.

    That's a great price. That is the price from my local dealer for the S trim, the SV is being quoted much higher in Denver. I'm sure i can negotiate a bit more..?

    Should I wait for the 2016 Leaf?

    I am in this boat right now. I'm driving a gas guzzler with 120k miles and I am hunting for the right deal on a LEAF. I could wait a few months and see what 2016s bring, or jump on the great 2015 deals that are already happening. For new LEAFs, there is $5000 NMAC cash plus 0% for 72 months...
