    Battery exchange question

But I don't want replacement packs to be bought :) I want to use salvage Leaf and take batteries from it and put in mine. If I want to use 2013-2016 batteries in Leaf 2012 then I also need conversion plug. Can somebody give me part number to order that? :)

    Battery exchange question

One more question. From your reply I assume that I can swap battery pack from 2011-2012 Leaf to my Leaf and can be done by myself. Battery packs will be same revision, and If I swap control cards (where they are located/how do they looks?) it will work. Any other battery pack (eg. 2015 Leaf...

    Battery exchange question

Thank you for reply. So that's why there are no 3rd party batteries for Leaf... with bigger capacity, etc. Unless somebody will have access to dealer software or hack Leaf it is impossible to change batteries "at home" ? :( Sad.

    Battery exchange question

hello :) So I have simple questions: 1. I know I can use 2013-2016 battery in 2011-2012 Leaf, I just need one adapter part from dealer, could anybody tell me service number for that part? 2. maybe stupid question but.. is it possible to fit 2011-2012 Leaf battery in 2013-2016 cars? And do...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

I see lot's of 2011-2012 Leaf lost 1st bar in normal climate... still 15 months battery warranty. 3 bars to go.... not possible in that period?... unless heat battery

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

Lost 1st bar in Poland / Europe yesterday, at 32.000km (so about 20.000 miles) and after 2.5 years usage, Leaf is 1st registered 07.01.2012 so I believe it is 2011 model. First year I observed no capacity drop second year it was from 97% to 88% and now 88% to 84% SOH reported by Leaf Spy...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

vegastar - you still have 1,5 year left to make battery claim. just don't go over 100.000km (60.000 miles) :-) only 2 bars to go :) you can loose them by the end of next year.

    My theory about battery longevity

This could be answer to mine concerns. Same observed here. It has nothing to do with p3227 update. Exactly when my battery was 2 years old it started to lose AHr rapidly. In cold. But my car went from 64 to 59.5 in 4 months. In cold/normal climate - driving about 600-700 miles monthly. So I...

    My theory about battery longevity

but my concerns have nothing to do with update. Capacity falling started on january 2014 (1AHr by month), I got update on March 2014 (capacity upped by 3AHr to 64AHr - but quickly dropped - just after one week to 61AHr).... So it has nothing to do with P3227 update,

    My theory about battery longevity

To all - I know very well about heat issue. And I agree of course. I just observed quite big capacity loss (1AHr every month) in normal climate (winter/spring) where heat is definitelly not an issue. My Leaf has only 11.000miles. But observing high mileage Leafs - one famous member here...

    My theory about battery longevity

Hi, I live in Poland.. Drive leaf for more than year. Climate is ok. Should be perfect for leaf. Summer is warm and hot but hottest are 2-3 weeks and then is nice :). I use Leaf Spy pro to monitor capacity. Last year since April to December I've got SOH reading between 97-99% until December...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

is this normal that my leaf (located in Poland) loses around 0.02 AHr daily (showed using Leaf Spy Pro). P3227 update was done in middle of March (capacity got up, but quicly went down). Climate is not hot, just normal.. (between 10-20 degrees celcius). And a month ago capacity was AHr=61.5 now...

    Leaf Spy Lite

I just updated my samsung galaxy S2 to android kitkat 4.4 - using cyanogen mod 11, and now I can't install Leaf Spy (any version). Just downloading and get error: "app cannot be installed on usb or sdcard"..... any solution? Other apps install without any problem from google store.

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

eivisa - funny as my Leaf in Poland has almost the same VIN number (last 3 digits says 343) - so almost same manufactured date (mine 01/2012) - hope battery will be as good as yours ;). But my Leaf Spy readings are minimal worse (AHR 97-98%), I'm still PRE-Update as my dealer is now consulting...

Leaf Spy and Leaf Spy Pro

I think it is because P3227 update gives you more accurate readings, while pre-update leafs in cold climates reports high AHr. Mine Leaf is also not yet updated. What mileage you have?

Buying a LEAF for use in country without Nissan service

Carwings works in my Leaf in Poland, although official there is no carwings support in Poland (that's why they offer only S trim version). For service I have same concerns... I can go for a service but all they do will be computer & mechanical check + brake fluid change (why?????) + pollen...

Buying a LEAF for use in country without Nissan service

Official Nissan Leaf dealers and service in Poland are in two cities: Warsaw and Krakow. Nissan sells Leafs in Poland since June 2013, only Leaf 2013 S trim (cheapest), but you can order Acenta or Tekna if you want. Both dealers have free CHAdeMO chargers which can be used 24h free of charge...

Buying a LEAF for use in country without Nissan service

I bought a Leaf in a country withour service at April 2013. It is 2012 model. Now we have service possible (nearest 80km from me) and I wonder if I should go there for warranty.... Officially I have one year warranty left (expires January 2014), and three years for engine+batteries (January...
