Seattle area people who are in the market for a Leaf: Based off a previous poster's recommendation (thank you, whoever you are!), we went to Larson Nissan Fife and asked for Travis. He got us what we think is a decent deal on a 2014 Leaf SV + QC/LED package,24 month lease, 12K miles/yr.

Can't remember all the numbers off the top of my head but we put $2250 down (included our trade in), payment is $208/month

We had a great experience with him and Larson Nissan Fife and hopefully we can direct more people his way!

The latest offer I received is for a Leaf SL -- $2,500 down and $317 monthly with tax.

Think I can do better? Admittedly, patience isn't my strong suit and I haven't been enjoying the shopping process. The dealership model feels incredibly outdated.

State : Oregon

Leaf Trim, options : 2013 SV, QC+LED lights
MSRP : $34,580
Invoice : (if you know)
Negotiated Price : $27,924
Taxes, Title, Registration : Included
Any other fees (doc, administrative, marketing etc) : Included
Money Factor : .00008
Downpayment : $0
Monthly payment : $252.47

12,000 miles per year.

I am in Salem and hope to lease a Leaf within a few days. Can I ask which dealer you used? How did you find a 2013?

Here are the 2 options I'm looking at:

2014 Leaf SV with LED and quick charge
MSRP $34,900
Sales price $32,200
37% residual $12,913
15k miles 36 month lease
$0 down
$348 per month
This seems too high. I don't know why the sales price is not lower.

2014 Leaf S with quick charge
MSRP $31,530
Sales price $28,030
36% residual $11,351
15k lease 36 months
$0 cash down
$238 month

The lower option seems best money wise but I'm not even sure if that is a good deal. I would like navigation and I'm not sure if Carwings is important but I don't see spending so much for a SV compared to the S. Any opinions or recommendations are welcome. Thanks

It appears the lease program on the '14 remaining stock is getting worse. A dealer just pointed out to me that on a 3 year /36000 mile lease the residual is now 38% for SV and 37% for S. This is down from June's 41%. Even though Nissan is compensating this drop by increasing the lease rebate by $1000, payments are now still more expensive than they were last month. I also noticed that the dealers are now pushing 2 year leases on the SV and SL models in their July 4 sales event. Not sure if it's related.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Here are the latest quotes I received. Both are for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year.

2014 Nissan Leaf SV with QC / LED package
$2000 total drive off
$310/month with tax

2014 Nissan Leaf SL with Premium Package
$2000 total drive off
$333/month with tax

I'm not happy with either of them, so the quest continues.

deal 1: 24 months lease

2014 NISSAN LEAF® SV $33170
with navigation, backup and alloy wheels
$99 per month (+ tax)
$2500 total drive off, 12000 miles per year

or $119 per month (+tax)
$1500 down, 12k miles

deal 2:
$162 per month (+tax) for 36 months
$2500 total drive off, 12000 miles per year

or 190 per month
$1500 down, 12k miles

are these good deals? which one is the best?

Dont these numbers look rediculously high?

2014 Nissan Leaf SV with Premium Package:

MSRP: $34,769.00
Dealer Discount and Rebate : 11,645.00 (9,300.00 Lease Cash included)
Vehicle net price (Net after Rebate) : $ 23,124.00

15,000 miles per year, O.A.C., based on tax profile : 8.00% Tax

24 Months: $430.86 36 Months: $377.73

Is the residual based off msrp price or of discounted price?

2015 Nissan Leaf S with Charger Package:

MSRP: $32,000.00
Dealer Discount and Rebate : 8,889.00 (7,500.00 Lease Cash included)
Vehicle net price (Net after Rebate) :23,111.00

24 Months: $460.00 36 Months: $403.12

I got my leaf sl three weeks ago. It is a 2013. I got. 2 year lease with 12k per year, no money down, the dealership bought me a lvl 2 charge for $600 and my monthly payments are $185. Since there was no money down, I only have to make 23 monthly payments.

What's your location? Any packages?

Deal #1 sounds great! Why is a 24 month lease cheaper than a 36 month? I'd grab the first one and run. Try to put as little down and make your monthly payments alittle higher.

The numbers in deal #1 don't quite make sense. The total payment with less down is less than that with more down.

Are you saying you getting this for leaf SV?
>> $162 per month (+tax) for 36 months
>> $2500 total drive off, 12000 miles per year

If you are getting the $2500 CA rebate, then deal#2 makes sense.

Fourth Nissan dealership I went to and another less-than-spectacular quote on an SV + QC: $2,000 down and $306/month with tax. *sigh* I really should have focused on this in June. I'm getting better prices on the Ford Focus Electric, which would be fantastic if it had a quick-charge port.

yes, those are the offers that i have received from one dealer. Actually, i have to chose one out of FOUR options. Per my calculation, 2500 down $160 per months costs least. However, it is only cheaper by $2 in comparison with 1500 down, $190 per month. i think i should go with the least amount of down required.

Is the SF area getting special deals or I am just very bad at finding good deals? The best I could do in Los Angeles Area is a 2014 SV with premium package 15K per year 36 months with $2000 down at $272

I've found worse in LA. I'm mulling an offer similar to yours on an SV +QC, but with 12K and no premium package.

I guess either
1. SF area does have some kind of additional incentive/deal that is going on which we don't know about as no dealer will be leasing/selling a car at a lost(when another dealer said that they are losing 1K+ for the deal, I left because that was the moment they showed their complete lack of common sense)

2. Demand is much higher in LA area, thus not much to negotiate.

3. Are all the great North Cal prices after or before factoring in the $2,500 CA state rebate?

Still scratching my head trying to figure out what is going on.

Just picked up my new 2014 Leaf S with QC today. Got a 36 month lease at 15k miles for $0 down and $206.56 per month for 35 months. Hopefully I got a good deal. I think I did.
