Another HomeLink mirror option

My 2013 Leaf SV had a regular auto-dimming mirror (GNTX-461), so I decided to upgrade to a newer generation of Gentex mirror with auto-dimming, HomeLink 4.0, and compass all built in. I found a 4112A-PZLHL4 mirror in a 2014 Nissan Maxima at the u-pull junkyard. It appears to be comparable to a GNTX-453. The Maxima must have had dimming sideview mirrors because there were two additional wires (black/white and black/orange) that I removed from the connector.

In case it is helpful to anyone, here are the original and new pinouts with wire colors:

Original 2013 Leaf mirror wiring
Pin 1: black/red (12v ignition on)
Pin 2: black (ground)
Pin 5-7: empty

New mirror wired for 2013 Leaf
Pin 1-5: empty
Pin 6: black/red (12v ignition on)
Pin 7: empty
Pin 8: black (ground)
Pin 9: empty
Pin 10: black/yellow (12v ignition on, twisted together with Pin 6 when attached to existing black/red wire in car harness)

does it mount the same as stock? that is a cool easy OEM+ upgrade for our Leafs in that case!

Yep, same mount on the windshield. I made sure to get the new mirror off a Nissan just to be sure, though other vehicle manufacturers may use compatible mounts.
