Have you tried mixing one part baking soda to one part sugar?
I will try that. I like cheap and benign powders. Interestingly too, we've had a lot of the same-type-looking ant trails around the outside of our house--walkways and deck, etc. We've just recently had carpenters working on the deck (people, not ants/bees), though, and so now there's a lot of sawdust. And now I'm not seeing any ants there! Don't know if it's coincidence and just seems clear for the time being, but FWIW... :cool: Maybe I spread sawdust in the engine compartment of my BMW?! :?
