I reset the average energy economy number on the dashboard and the average economy number on the Energy Display window (the Navigation screen) at the same time before going on a trip today. When I got home, I had 2 different values for both of these. The one on the dashboard showed 4.7, but the one on the Navigation screen showed 5.1.

Is this normal? Why are they different? Which is more accurate?

Does anyone else observe the same issue?

At times, mine reads the same, and sometimes .1 higher and sometimes .2 higher. I've never had it be higher by more than .2. I would say the dash is more accurate since the one on the console is related to CarWings.

The two numbers usually track well, but the one on the dash is limited to 8.0. So, if you spend much time with your mpk over 8, the dash one won't keep up.
