Since the spreadsheet does not reflect up to date information, it would be valuable, for me at least, to know the delivery dates for those who ordered cars in May 2011 as reflected on the dashboard. I ordered May 11th and have now a delivery date of "the week of August 18." Does anyone else have a week assigned?
 
I ordered right around May 11 and my db still says "month of August". The only piece of info I've been able to obtain is that you get your VIN# BEFORE the month->week.
 
My order was placed May 10, and I'm still showing "Month of August 2011" as of July 25 Monday Morning.
 
I ordered on 5/15. Yesterday, I received a "Congratulations on being an owner email" with a link to the Nissan Owner's Portal. The date on my dashboard was updated from "Month of September" to "Week of August 23, 2011".
 
hate to ask this but when you RAQ and finalize a deal with the leaf specialist
is there anything that the dealer has too do to push the order out to Nissan ?

in other words could a lazy guy at the store stop/delay your order ?

do you get a confirmation you ordered a car?
 
When you RAQ, you will get an email back with the particulars of the quote. You then have to accept that quote which finalizes it in the system.

Ordered early May, delivery is October. I got pushed to the back of the line for changing my order. Started with sv but they called and recommend I get the sl so I qualify for the ev project. Ecotality came and gave me a quote. Since my Blink will be a couple feet too far away, they are charging me $250 for an extra arms length of wire. She told me it cost so much because of the extra administrative costs associated with it being out of the projects guidelines. She wasn't helpful with placement and only stayed for a couple minutes. Not impressed.

I ordered in March, and my DB updated to "week of August 23" last week. Noticed you were also in TN (I know I'm not a May order).

Seems like had I ordered a few weeks earlier (into Feb) I would have taken delivery in June or early July.

Is there any way you can relocate your unit closer by those two feet? When they did my assessment, they told me they would only run 18 ft. of conduit if the quote was to stay inside the $1200 budget, and my preferred placement stretched that to the limit. On install day, however, the installers didn't care about the length in the slightest, they only cared that they could get the install done in the allotted time. They ended up deciding to run the conduit up near the ceiling, which was much better looking. That extra run up the wall, then back down added another 12-15ft of conduit on top of the 18ft run, but no extra charge. If you can, by hook or by crook, get them to write a clean quote, with no overage, I'll bet the extra 2ft. will be no problem come install day.

That's interesting. I think you're right. The Tennessee orders between March and May are switching to the 8/23 date. Our cars must be coming on the same container ship.
 
I ordered on 5/15, and my page still says "month of September". ECOtality called me over the weekend to schedule my charger assessment -- having it done 7/27. Some of these posts have me hopeful that I will get pulled into late Aug!
 
Anyone notice there's no "rhyme or reason" to the orders/dates? Trying to figure it out is made even more complicated when there's no accompanying info (in a sig, etc.) on what version and what color (which must be having some affect).
 
It does look like they are lumping orders together based on geographic area, to help with delivery costs probably. Looks like several TN deliveries will happen the same week.

Yup, you can witness this by the surge of cars that were delivered in June and early July (in TN), and then nada. I was literally on the start of the "new shipments to TN" as I've spoken to a few people in TN that ordered a few weeks ahead of me, had a VIN about 200 ahead of mine and got theirs in June. Now, I have the same estimate delivery date (week of August 23) as many people that ordered in May.

I have a feeling that my LEAF was unfortunate enough to have to travel from Japan to the UK to Florida. I'll confirm or refute that statement once my car is delivered and I see the port of entry.

Still (im)patiently waiting.
 
Anyone that had "week of August 23rd", have you checked your dashboard today? Mine updated as of this morning to week of July 28th... kind of unexpected, but I just wanted to see if anyone else saw the same change.
 
I ordered on 5/15 and the status still says "month of August". My Leaf color is Red and I live in CA bay area.
