Had to run some errands today, so I thought I'd try to duplicate the OP's original concern.
Same car, same year, same mileage.
It wasn't Phoenix "Melt your face off" hot, but it was 92F.
Started with 80% charge (by CAN display, not GOM)
No AC, Windows open.
Drove 65Mph for more than half the time (I95) and 35 to 50 the rest.
Hit Low Battery Warning at 56.8 Miles, 17.4% 49 GID.
I figure the car stops dead at 15 GID (I use 20 to be safe), so I had 8 to 10 Miles before I became a brick.
So it's about a 65 Mile range car under these conditions.?
