Drayson attempts FIA electric-vehicle land-speed record

I can't believe that the current FIA standing land speed record for an EV is 174 mph (set back in 1974) when there are a bunch of college students are doing nearly double that on salt flats. (http://buckeyebullet.com/).

Anything that raises the bar of EV performance is always something worth supporting.
