I just heard that the Nissan Leaf gets 106MPG energy equivalency for city driving and 92 for highway driving according to the EPA.

Apparently this translates to 73 miles of range, given that (92+106)/2 is 99MPG combined, storage is around 24KW, so 24/33.7 = 0.712 gallons of gas equivalency.. .. 99MPG *0.712gallons =~73 miles range
Now we all know that the 2008 EPA driving tests are more aggressive than pre 2008, and so I am sure that we can get a lot more than 73 miles out of our Leafs without trying very hard.
Cheers
::UPDATE: whoops. Didn't scroll down far enough to check if already posted.
