hi folks
got a 2014 leaf with 142000km came back from kids soccer game 2 days ago and on my way back home i had to do a little quick charge on a level 3 charger for about 3 minutes just to have enough to get me up the hills to my house. this is something i have done many times in the past. as usual as i arrived i plugged in the car in our home evse level 2 and went to bed.

the next morning got in the car to find out it did not charge at all since the night before. i checked the plug and tried to unplug and plug it back again and all i would get it the 3 lights flashing 3 times and then nothing, so i took my pickup truck for the day! in the evening i parked the car in the garage and started playing with the nissan level 1 and 2 that came with the car and managed to get it charging on level 1 (if i remember the level 1 does not do the diode test so it should always charge) tried level 2 wouldnt work. soldered a new Diode 1n4003 to the wire from the plug and seemed to be the problem as it would now charge in both level1 and 2.. just as i tought i nailed it, i started the car to park it next to my house where it is usually parked and plugged into the home level 2 and not only it would not charge on this charger but the car is now in turtle mode plus the Ev warning light next to the turtle symbol is also illuminated.

i downloaded leafspy pro and managed to read all dtc and did get some error codes ( i will re-read the coades and take a screen shot of it and post them here later if it helps) i remebmber i had a code for charger open and 3 codes for ev charger too... tryed many many times to erase the codes but just they wont clear. unplugged the 12v battery for hours and still no success. car is now fully charged and have also charged the 12v battery and tested the battery to make sure it's good. voltage at rest unplugged from car is a good 12.6v and seems ok, cleaned ground and positive cable ends and battery posts and reinstalled and didi this a few times already and still stuck in turtle mode

i have seen a video of someone bypassing the turtle mode by putting the car in cruise control and accelerating with the steering up down switch but have not tried it yet and not sure i want to drive this way for a period of time. from searches i made online some suggest to try and charge it at a level 3 station dont know how this would help get it off the turtle mode or if a relay is stuck ...
thanks
