Hi there,
I have a UK reg 2017 Leaf Gen 1 with just shy of 100k on the odo. I don't use the navigation on the entertainment system normally so only just noticed a weird issue.
Essentially the navigation is often miles off from my actual location, but seems to be able to track my car. The navigation has me driving though fields 40km away from my actual location. It occasionally seems to find me again and then will be accurate until it is suddenly wrong again.

Has anyone had this issue before, and can anyone recommend a fix? It is not catastrophic as everything else works fine, its just a bit of an annoyance.

Thanks in advance,
Dan.

If you haven't tried this already, press and hold the volume/power knob for 10+ seconds until the Nissan logo shows on the screen. The infotainment system will do a restart. Might help, might not.

I do not know much about the GPS in the Nissan Leaf’s but a few years ago, a lot of aviation GPS units received a software fix having to do with the ephemeris and almanac data of the GPS Constallation. You might want to check with the local Nissan dealer to see if Nissan has any sort of software fix for their GPS units which may help correct this issue.

Best of luck and let us know what you find.

Thank you for this. I'll give it a try!
