I got to say this package is 4 months too late. This should have been sent out prior to ordering. Why would I want color swatches or trim level details 4 months after I placed an order?

True. But it's never too late for a free T-Shirt! :D

Tru dat.

You may still be able to change the color, accessories or even model of your car, so that's not necessarily moot. I understand that's all custom made to order, so if yours hasn't gone on the assembly line yet, you can probably change it.

The light blue Leaf shirt I got at the demo in San Jose fits well, so I know L is the right size, assuming Nissan uses the same manufacturer (Alstyle Green). Sometimes L is too large around the middle, but M is usually too short in the trunk. But this time of year I use that shirt as a heavy duty undershirt due to cool/cold weather and I find that one slightly uncomfortable since it is not 100% cotton. The label says 94% cotton, 6% "organic." Isn't cotton organic? Whatever it is, I notice it doesn't breathe quite as well as all cotton. I ordered the free T shirt today anyway when my UPS package came but I may end up giving it away. I can't believe they are wasting the money for those cardboard cards. One paper leaflet could contain all the printed info and pictures. Even the paint samples could come on little patches or photo paper like what you get at the paint stores instead of those thick boards. I also find the slogans rather lame and too small to be effective as advertising. They need better marketing people.

Received my package just now. I think it's really a nice touch, it would have been more helpful to receive the color samples earlier and there are still no pictures of the accessories, but over all very nice. A little road bump while ordering my t-shirt: Entered my address as "drive" but the website told me it appeared to be an invalid address and would not let me proceed, so I changed it to "street" and it worked fine. The database used by the postal service and the shipping companies has my address listed as "street" although in reality it is a "drive", so I suspected that was the reason. Seeing the actual colors on little metal swatches is really nice :D

Got mine, too. Thank you Mark Perry!

Do we need a poll on who ordered "I wake up fully charged" and who ordered "I'm all charged up"?

I got the former.

I'm pleased to see that "PENDING, Pending, pending, pppppending" perpetually on the dashboard doesn't mean that Nissan is ignoring me. Maybe I WILL be driving electric before too long???? Please, please, please.

Is the "gray" fabric darker than I seem to remember from the Test-Drive cars?

Gary, I was going to post this same question. Both of us think it is darker and we just saw the Test drive cars on Sunday. We thought the carpet color was dark enough it would be ok, but the seats and fabric on the armrests seemed very light, almost a light beige. This fabric is a true grey. We did not like the light color of the seats and were hoping it would be darker in the production model. I seem to remember one of the surveys had questions about fabric color - maybe I'm wrong.

Austin people, could someone take their color samples this weekend and let us know if the fabric matches the test drive cars ? That would be helpful.

The blue ocean looks a little deeper. I was hoping to see a clear photo of Tom's San Diego blue LEAF, but all the photos I saw were in poor light. Anyone see any good photos of Tom's production blue? Where are they?

Here's a quote from the Phoenix Cocktail Party thread:

One of the Nissan specialists did mention that the interior color is 'two shades darker' than the pre-production models.

This confirms the interior fabric is a darker grey. Good. That should be better.

Yep, my wife and I asked the same question. Frankly, we like the color of the swatch much better... Glad to know they changed it. Perhaps all the comments about how fast it was going to soil were heard...

We got our package today in the mail. It's a neat little packet. I will show it to my friends and family and hopefully get them excited about the LEAF (not that they can order one at this point). And yes the color swatches would have been nice earlier (Although I just went to a dealer so I could see a car in the new red color).

We chose the 'I'm all charged up' shirt (since neither of us are morning people). So now we should setup a tracking system to see who gets their t-shirts first? The race is on!

I got the package today too, and already used my code. I'm in Texas too, so maybe that makes a difference?

Hi Martha...if you do mostly hwy driving, I doubt you can win (in reference to your sig). The person who drives mostly city driving around 38 mph will likely win because 138 miles is going to be hard to beat. ;)

I am scheduled for a Friday 11 a.m. drive and I plan on taking my swatches it with me.
