I used that title because I foolishly ordered a 2014 hitch from Curt thinking "how different can a 14 and a 15 be"?
Quite a bit in terms of Curts' directions/method for installing. Seems the tow hooks existing holes that the 14 hitch uses are different on a 15. Also there is no access hole on the drivers side frame rail that the 14s instructions shows there.
I had to cut my own access hole on the drivers side and drill 3 new holes on the passenger side frame rail. I kept the piece that i cut out for the drivers side access and welded it back in, ground it and sprayed the frame rail with undercoater.
Needless to say it's done and of course given the Leafs limited towing capacity it's more of a novelty but I will use it to tow a small 400 lb fold up trailer that I built. Next I will be doing the lighting harness which will be lots of fun since I have to run a power lead all the way to the battery....
