Replace Steering Rack

Hi all, just wondering has anyone every swapped out a steering rack on 2011 Leaf?

The boot on one side ripped and let in water which in turn corroded the rack!

Any insight as to a few steps would be great.

I have another 2011 Leaf which I've purchased for breaking so I've all the parts!
