Has anyone heard of the Leaf feature that allows the Leaf's power to be used to run a private home during power outages ? I read somewhere that some Japanese models were designed with the feature. If not, what would you need to use the Leaf's power on a home ?

Yes, they are working on it in Japan, but the cars here don't support it.

There have been LEAF owners that have purchased a large 12v to 120v inverter and connected it to their 12v battery to use in an emergency. Run an extension cord or two into the house and power a few essential items...Much cheaper than the V2G stuff...
