While supplies last (25 pairs left at time of writing), a pair of complementary tickets for the LA screenings of Chris Paine's 'Revenge of the Electric Car', courtesy of Nissan. The film is showing at the Nuart Theater in West LA beginning Friday, October 21st, and the tickets being offered are good for any screening during the film's run. Current owners, owners-to-be, and fans of the Nissan LEAF are all welcome to request tickets, but these requests must be made through the EV Support Team (1.877 NO GAS EV, then select Option #1, then select Option #4). In doing this, Nissan wants to spread the word about Mr. Paine's film and continue to build momentum for the EV movement.

You can get it through netflix.
honestly, it was just OK, though the scenes of EV1s lined up for the crusher were worth the 90 minutes.
I am pretty much over celebrities as even a secondary focus of documentaries.

(yes, I know it is a networking oppty.)

The CS rep and his supervisor say the 21st and 22nd are the only dates available... We can't make either of those unfortunately.

I will reconfirm with my people from Nissan.

Yes, I agree. I work in the entertainment industry and actually go out of my way to avoid anything involving promotion and/or comment by celebrities...

Boston opens on November 4th.

How do you get it through Netflix? when I looked it up it shows as "this title is unavailble"

Based on the reference to the EV1 crushing scene, my guess is that he's talking about "Who Killed the Electric Car?" and not the sequel.

Umm, how about "No". I can wait 2 weeks, its bad enough I have to drive into the "Republic of Cambridge" to watch the movie (thats what we call socialist Cambridge, MA in these parts)

Boston, MA: Landmark Kendell Square Cinema

(Kendall Square is located right near MIT, in Cambridge, not Boston)

I was privileged to be part of a group of LEAF owners to see "Revenge" this evening, and I recommend it highly to anyone who is interested in what goes on behind the scenes in three very different car companies (GM, Tesla, Nissan) and three very different CEOs, and explains some of the crucial decisions and events that brought us to this point in the growth of today's EV world.

See it, talk about it, blog about it, "Like" it, bring your friends and family.

+1. Well worth seeing.
Agreed! I brought a friend who knows both Martin Eberhard and JB Straubel from Tesla to the screening in Menlo Park last weekend. She really liked the movie and thought that it was both objective and well-balanced without taking sides. I plan to see it again after its official theatrical release.

We saw it tonight at the screening and it made us really glad we had taken the leap to the leaf. And of course it was great to see all our mnl folks too. Loved the food and swag bag too. Gary mine is for you.

I just called CS and they are sending me general tickets to be used anytime after the 21st. Thanks.

I have been thinking I wanted to see the film soon, and I had been looking for info on MNL. Last Saturday at the EVAOSC meeting they encouraged everyone to see the film, but there was no mention of an advanced screening before Friday. Wednesday would not have been convenient, however, so I miss out on the cool "swag."

46 miles 1-way, but it looks like it would again be convenient to charge at the Helms Bakery complex on my way home, while I have a nice meal at the French biestro. Maybe I can make one of the Sunday showings at which Chris Paine will be present. I see from LA Times review that Chris Paine uses the same charging location.

Well I called CS earlier this week for tickets for tonight but I haven't gotten them yet. I don't think mail has come yet though.... :(
