Seattle - Snoqualmie pass trip

I see in recargo that some leafers are actually ventured to Snoqualmie pass...
I really want to try it but kind of affraid
The distance from my house to QC over there is a bit over 50 miles, so normally it should be no problem, but the way there for me is 90% highway, and there's a significant elevation gain, so if you did make it over there, what was your strategy? Crawl on a highway? get some top up charge in Issaquah?
On the way back, as QC won't charge me to 100%, will it be enough to make 50 miles downhill?

Ahh, where's your sense of adventure? Go for it. I remember back in 2011 somebody did it and posted pictures (I couldn't find it, darn search). They didn't even have a DCQC at the top. You could always go through Snoqualmie and stop for lunch on your way up.
