I may show up at Cerritos. I am waiting for my June Leaf, have my Aerovironment charger installed and solar panels pumping out juice!

All friendly, interested folks are welcome at our Gatherings.

Next one, in two days, this Saturday at Hometown Buffet
two blocks East of I-5 on 17th Street in Santa Ana.

------
Kat, you have an excellent chance of having your LEAF by the 14th.
Gregg got his yesterday, but it "caught a fever" overnight ...
the "Bubbling Teakettle Syndrome". :( ;) :D

------
We will use the 14th and 28th for our May, 2011 Gatherings:

#9a: On the 14th either at Cerritos Nissan or the nearby Hometown Buffet.

#9b: On the 28th at the HTB on 17th Street in Santa Ana.

NOTICE:
If you will be sending (or will want to send) your Nissan L1 EVSE into Ingineer (Phil) for an Upgrade (to add L2 ability), the price goes up by $40 at midnight tonight.

Even if you do not have the EVSE yet, you may place the order tonight and pay for it tonight ($198 + $20 shipping = $218) using a credit card or PayPal.
Doing it tonight saves you $40.

First, see the general info at www.evseupgrade.com

Then, see http://www.evseupgrade.com/thanks
and read Phil's "release" form that you will have to sign and send in with the EVSE when you send it in (insured) for modification.

Then, actually order from http://www.evseupgrade.com/styled/
by selecting the 2nd (or other) option at the bottom of the page.

You are so kind, ... I try to serve well, thanks.

We should have some newly-designed EVSE-Guts to look at,
coming a considerable distance to join us.

See you tomorrow.

Oooh, guts! A zombie theme, eh?

I may be able to make tomorrow. I can sneak out under the premise of needing to go to JCPenney's (which I actually do need to do). But fair warning....my LEAF is in dire need of detailing, which I was planning for Sunday morning.

I washed mine for the first time last evening in preparation.

Procedure:
1) Wash
2) Dry
3) Drive very fast for 1 mile
4) Re-dry to remove water released from various cubbies and channels
5) Park in garage til Saturday

REMINDER:
SoCal Branch LEAF-Gathering tomorrow AM in Santa Ana.

Try sending the location to your car (via Carwings) from Google Maps, using the SEND function.

Boomer...,
I got 3 plugs for you.

Attended by about 12 people, 2 babies and 6 LEAFs, we had a demonstration of the EVSE "guts" that Chris is developing.

Our raffle had 5 items, starting with a nice combination lock for the L1 EVSE's "nozzle". Show-n-Tell included the Mod-L1 EVSE and 8 adapters, etc.

In short, a very enjoyable Gathering.

A special thanks to Chris, his wife, and their baby for driving about 2 hours (one way) to attend and demonstrate.

I forgot my wallet, and Boomer23 bought my breakfast. THANKS Phil. :D
