The Leaf as a dog Whistle?

Ok, so don't laugh...

But I have noticed something odd...
From time to time when I am driving through residential neighborhoods (lot's of folks out walking their dogs)
and every now and then, right around ~26-29 miles an hour Dogs go nuts and bark at the car as I drive past.
Does not happen all the time and I can't seem to find the exact frequency (or speed \ throttle position) that seems to set them off when I try to do it manually. But it does happen rarely and always when I am not thinking about it. Doh!
I have VSP disabled so the only sound coming from the car is the actual motor \ car high freq sound.

Just wondered if anyone else has ever noticed or experienced anything similar to this? :?:

I've had dogs bark at ICEs too, so I don't know if it's anything specific to the LEAF.

I read someplace that the motor makes high pitch noise to scare Deer and make them run away from the LEAF.

Apparently, late at night, my dogs can hear my car approaching the house and start barking before I'm even in the driveway.

Check to make sure there isn't a rabbit living/hiding in your Leaf? :lol:

No question in my mind that mere mention of the LEAF, let alone the Volt or Tesla, functions as a dog whistle. ;-)
