Brief Position Summary:
The Right Side Driver will be responsible for riding in the vehicles with each of the consumers during their test drive. The Right Side Driver will serve as a product specialist while interacting with the consumers as they drive the vehicle. The Right Side Driver will need to become an expert on the vehicle attributes and key features. They will be required to do in car product demos as well as provide direction on how to follow the route of the designated course.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Outgoing personality
Ability to easily communicate with others
Ability to quickly learn and retain knowledge about the Nissan LEAF EV using an online training module
Understanding and desire to learn about the benefits of EV technology
Ability to communicate key features and attributes of the vehicle to the consumer
Ability to react collectively in situations
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
A strong work ethic and customer service orientation
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple clients, agencies and vendors
Utilize creative problem solving skills
Have strong background in automotive technology
Professional driver skills encouraged
Must be an auto enthusiast
Ability to follow directions completely and follow through with tasks accordingly
Ability to perform multiple tasks under adverse weather conditions, if needed
Excellent presentation/public speaking skills - ability to communicate with the public and direct consumers to specific areas of the promotion
Impeccable driving record and valid driver’s license
Educational and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma (College degree preferred)
Event experience (Automotive events preferred)
Green technology background is a plus
