Carlos Ghosn is the CEO of Nisan and Renault, and Renault has a substantial stake in Nissan. Thus it is not too surprising to see the Japanese and French flag at Nissan. When engineers from the two companies get together for meetings, the dialog is in English because it is unlikely that the French speak Japanese and vice versa.
