The one time I used a Nissan dealership EVSE it went like this:cwerdna said:It has a filter for CHAdeMO.
Depending on Nissan dealers for CHAdeMO isn't a great idea. Some don't welcome vehicles not bought/leased from there. It also might be broken or ICEd besides being inaccessible after hours.

1. Stand in line at the service desk to ask to charge
2. Wait for the one person able to activate the EVSE
It is an emergency option *only*
It is totally YMMV.SageBrush said:The one time I used a Nissan dealership EVSE it went like this:

That is my point exactly. For routine travel it cannot be relied upon.cwerdna said:It is totally YMMV.SageBrush said:The one time I used a Nissan dealership EVSE it went like this:

Thus, I would only look at Nissan dealer DC FCs just as another possibility/choice, like any others that exist.
It really is silly and unfortunate that Nissan's efforts on this in the US are so lackluster vs. https://www.tesla.com/supercharger, https://www.tesla.com/trips and related UI in their cars.
Way too many reports of locations going live and promptly going down for repairs. The only saving grace with them is they seem to update the operation status pretty quickly.WetEV said:cwerdna said:^^^
